9-6-2014 Florida:
A 41-year-old Village of Lynnhaven man was arrested on a charge of prowling after he was identified in a photographic lineup by a 17-year-old male and 14-year-old girl.
They told investigators from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office they had been at the pedestrian bridge near Barnes & Noble at Lake Sumter Landing July 28 when a man was hiding in the bushes watching them.
They identified Jamie Greenberg, a registered sex offender living in The Villages, as the man they had seen, according to the arrest report.
Deputies connected Green’s vehicle with the incident as it had been parked at the Sonny’s parking lot.
Greenberg was previously arrested Aug. 31, 2012 in Sumter County on a charge of lewd or lascivious conduct regarding an incident that occurred at Lake Sumter Landing near the playground on Old Camp Road involving a juvenile victim. Greenberg was also identified as the suspect in another incident and had been falsely impersonating Village Watch, according to the arrest report. ..Source.. by
